Right to Know Day (28 September 2014) is an international annual event which aims to increase awareness of individuals’ right of access to government information and open, transparent governance.
This year, NSW will mark the occasion as Right to Know Week (28 Sept – 5 Oct 2014) to raise awareness about access to government information in NSW. The themes for this year’s campaign are:
- Open government information: know your rights
- Celebrating five years of the GIPA Act in NSW

The IPC has developed a range of free RTK resources for our RTK partners including downloadable logos, posters, and content for your intranet and website - all we ask is you share the RTK message and resources with your stakeholders through your communications mediums and channels.
