“The IPC’s e-learning portal has been an important initiative for the IPC and was developed to meet the growing demand for training and education among our stakeholder groups, while assisting the Information Commissioner and Privacy Commissioner to meet our statutory obligations,” said Ms Tydd.
The IPC e-learning portal will initially provide access to two customised e-learning modules:
- Privacy Complaint Handling
- GIPA Act: Access Training for Decision Makers – Module 1
These e-learning options have been developed specifically to assist right to information and privacy practitioners, and are provided free of charge to all IPC stakeholders via a simple self-registration process.
“These two modules commence an important education and training strategy for the IPC. We are committed to continuing to develop new e-learning modules and educational tools which will be added to the e-learning portal to meet stakeholder demand for training in the areas of government information access and privacy legislation in NSW,” said Ms Tydd.
