Privacy Awareness Month Launch Event

First State Super in collaboration with the NSW Privacy Commissioner launched Privacy Awareness Month 2016 with an address from the Hon Michael Kirby entitled ‘Privacy Matters: Why NSW Should Lead’. In his address, the Hon. Michael Kirby centred on the recommendations of the Parliamentary Committee Inquiry into Remedies into Serious Invasions of Privacy in NSW and his views on the introduction of a statutory cause of action for serious invasions of privacy
