The IPC releases new Easy English Guides
The Information and Privacy Commission (IPC) has recently released its new Easy English Guides to provide members of the public with the simple information they need to understand their information access and privacy rights.
The Easy English writing style uses simple sentence structure, is written in the audience’s everyday vocabulary, and uses an effective layout by supporting the key messages with meaningful and clear images. These Guides better support people with intellectual or learning disabilities, people with English as a second language, older Australians, and people with low literacy in NSW.
The IPC website also features ReadSpeaker which allows readers to access information in audio form.
The IPC continues to support accessibility and inclusion while also supporting the exercise of privacy and information access rights for people in NSW.
The IPC’s Easy English Guides can be accessed via the IPC website.
