Celebrate diversity and promote tolerance this Zero Discrimination Day, 1 March 2020
Zero Discrimination Day by UNAIDS offers an opportunity to celebrate diversity, say no to discrimination and promote tolerance.
UNAIDS first launched this campaign in 2014 to help communities around the world speak up and prevent discrimination from standing in the way of anyone achieving their ambitions, goals and dreams, regardless of gender, ethnicity, age, sexuality, religion or HIV status.
A butterfly symbol is used to help promote the #zerodiscrimination message, representing transformation and encouraging people to share their stories and photos globally.
The Information and Privacy Commission is committed to promoting a workplace free from discrimination and supports the rights of individuals– supported by our Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan.
