Request for practitioner feedback

The Information Commissioner is inviting feedback from GIPA officers across NSW Government (including departments, agencies, state owned corporations, councils, universities and Ministers) on the revision of current resources in relation to:

Draft guideline: Agency guidance on GIPA annual reporting requirements (PDF, 438kb)

Draft fact sheet: What is the public interest test? (PDF, 136kb)

The resources provide agencies with guidance on how to meet the GIPA annual reporting requirements and an overview of the decision making process in deciding formal applications.

Consultation runs from Tuesday, 1 July 2014 for two weeks until Monday, 14 July 2014. GIPA officers may provide feedback via email to: ipcinfo@ipc.nsw.gov.au.
