The IPC supports National Reconciliation Week, 27 May – 3 June 2024

The IPC supports National Reconciliation Week (NRW), a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia. 

Reconciliation Australia’s theme for 2024 is ‘Now More Than Ever’, which is a reminder to all of us that no matter what, the fight for justice and the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people will — and must —continue.

The Information and Privacy Commission NSW is committed to promoting the right to access government-held information and the protection of privacy of people within diverse communities in NSW and aims to ensure that its services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are accessible, relevant and useful.
