The IPC supports International Women’s Day 8 March 2020

The IPC is proud to support International Women’s Day on 8 March 2020, a celebration of the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women – while also marking a call to action for accelerating gender equality.

This year’s theme is ‘an equal world is an enabled world’ or ‘Each for Equal’ which is about collective individualism, emphasising that we are all parts of a whole and collectively, we make change happen.

NSW government has established NSW Women’s Week which coincides with IWD. They have a number of events free to the public such as panel events and health screening forums. For more information, visit their website.
