IPC joins global call to action during Open Gov Week to transform the way governments serve their citizens

For one week in March, close to 100 open governments and thousands of doers, leaders, and thinkers from around the world – including the IPC – will come together to share ideas, discuss solutions, and commit to new levels of citizen participation in government.

Open Gov Week is designed for anyone who believes citizens should play a role in government decision making and #CitizENGAGE. It features seminars, hackathons, public debates, webinars, open dataset releases and other events planned by citizens, civil society and governments.

This year, the #OpenGov community will focus on increasing the number and diversity of partners taking part in events and conversations, with all OGP members encouraged to invite at least one new partner to join them in their Open Gov Week plans.
