Celebrate diversity and promote tolerance on Zero Discrimination Day, 1 March

Zero Discrimination Day

The IPC is proud to support Zero Discrimination Day, 1 March 2019.

The initiative by UNAIDS offers an opportunity to celebrate diversity, reject discrimination and promote tolerance.

UNAIDS first launched this campaign in 2014 to help communities around the world speak up and prevent discrimination from standing in the way of anyone achieving their ambitions, goals and dreams, regardless of gender, ethnicity, age, sexuality, religion or HIV status.

A butterfly symbol is used to help promote the #zerodiscrimination message, representing transformation and encouraging people to share their stories and photos globally.

In acknowledging Zero Discrimination Day, the IPC demonstrates its commitment to promoting a workplace free from discrimination and supporting the rights of individuals around the world – supported by our Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan.
