The IPC reports on own motion investigations. These are published as soon as possible following completion, and the relevant Minister is notified.

GIPA investigations

The IPC publishes external review reports to assist agencies to comply with the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (GIPA Act).

The Government Information Public Access Act 2009 (GIPA Act) applies to New South Wales (NSW) public sector agencies.

The IPC oversees laws concerning access to government information.
