Information Awareness Month (IAM) 2016

Information Awareness Month (IAM) is a collaborative annual event which runs from the 1 May to 31 May and brings together various bodies from the data management, archives, records, knowledge and library communities. It is celebrated around Australia and runs for the month of May.

The IPC has released the 2014 – 2015 annual report which documents our many achievements and also our challenges during the reporting period, as well as outlining our directions for the coming year.

NSW Government GIPA dashboard available online for the first time

Today the Information and Privacy Commission NSW launched a public dashboard that will enable government agencies and the public to quickly and easily access agency and sector performance data for the first time.

Under the GIPA Act and the Government Information (Public Access) Regulation 2009, agencies are required to report annually on their obligations.
